Advanced Plant Pharmaceuticals to Use DRTV in Israeli Market

Advanced Plant Pharmaceuticals Inc., a manufacturer of natural dietary supplements, will begin showing a direct response television spot for two of its supplements in the Israeli market.

The five-minute DRTV spots will be featured by next month on The Shopping Channel Israel. The ads will demonstrate the uses of ACA, a plant-based supplement that the company claims increases energy levels, and Lo-Chol, a supplement that the company claims can assist in maintaining cholesterol levels.

The company decided to show the spots initially in Israel because of the country's high concentration of more than 5 million viewers in a relatively small area. The company is in discussions with various undisclosed international markets to run the spots.

The ad will direct viewers to a toll-free number. The company said it expects the ad to result in online and in-store sales as well.

Ambar Pharmacies and Health Inc., the pharmaceutical company's exclusive Israeli distributor, will manage the product and campaign.
