Adapt Offers Program for Customizing CRM

Adapt Software Applications yesterday began offering The Adaptation program, which is customized customer relationship management software designed to meet the needs and requirements of businesses and vertical industry segments.


The Irvine, CA, company is offering two types of the software -- customer-specific and industry-specific. The customer versions are written to the specifications of an individual customer, while the industry package will offer customized prepackaged software for vertical markets.


According to Adapt, industry-specific services include industry-specific data fields, industry-specific sales processes, order entry, customer service contacts, item attributes and back-office links.


The Adaptation program is first being targeted at vertical markets with large numbers of small and medium-sized businesses in service-oriented industries where customer relationships are vital.
