Acxiom revenue down slightly

Acxiom reported that revenue for its marketing and data services companies for the third quarter of its 2012 fiscal year was $188 million, down from $189 million during the same quarter last fiscal year.

Marketing services provider Acxiom reported 3.6% growth in revenue to $298.8 million in its fiscal 2011 fourth quarter, which ended March 31. However, the Little Rock, Ark.-based company also saw a loss from operations of $53 million in the quarter.
 

Mansell Group acquires e-mail shop WhatCounts

Mansell Group, an Atlanta-based technology marketing services company, has acquired Seattle-based e-mail marketing firm WhatCounts. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
 

Acxiom names Suther CMO, replacing Darviche

Interactive marketing firm Acxiom has appointed Tim Suther its CMO. Suther replaced Michael Darviche, who left the company to pursue other endeavors, according to Ines Rodriguez-Gutzmer, senior marketing communications and PR consultant for Acxiom.
