Acxiom, SPSS Create CRM SolutionSPSS, Chicago, and Acxiom, Conway, AR, this week announced a strategic alliance that will combine the Acxiom Data Network with SPSS Data Mining Technology to create a customer relationship management solution. Now, through the Internet, SPSS users will be able to connect with Acxiom's external marketing data from within the SPSS program.
The integration will provide demographic and lifestyle profiles of customers in real time. Users will be able to perform and apply predictive modeling, statistical analysis, forecasting and trending, segmentation and data visualization.
In other news, Acxiom announced the successful validation of its customer data integration AbiliTec technology with the completion of the Second One Hundred Days Project. The project was initiated to test, validate, and apply AbiliTec technology internally on a broad scale and fast path it into major customer data integration applications.
