Acxiom Picks Return Path for ECOA

Acxiom Corp., Little Rock, AR, has chosen to integrate Return Path Inc.'s e-mail change of address service into its InfoBase eProduct offerings, Return Path said yesterday.

New York-based Return Path's ECOA service works similarly to the U.S. Postal Service's national change-of-address service. The Return Path network acts as a permission-based clearinghouse that lets consumers and businesses notify each other regarding e-mail address changes.

The announcement was made at yesterday's net.marketing conference.

The USPS signed Return Path as its exclusive ECOA provider in March.

Acxiom's InfoBase eMail Enhancement product offers features such as e-mail append and reverse append. Through this partnership, Acxiom clients also can use InfoBase for ECOA.
