Acxiom names new CMO

Acxiom has named Michael Darviche CMO and SVP. He will lead Acxiom's efforts to make integrated, multichannel marketing a top priority for companies worldwide, the company said.

Darviche will head the Acxiom teams that assess market opportunities, drive product lifecycle management for global channels, generate sales leads, create brand awareness and promote industry leadership. He also will oversee acquisition activities to enhance Acxiom's capabilities, global offerings and new market opportunities, the company said.

Darviche most recently served as CEO and founder of Flash Capital Systems, a New York-based startup providing data-driven customer monitoring services. Previously, he headed strategy, sales and marketing for Citi 360, a division of Citigroup, and was a global managing director of digital products and platforms at Marsh Inc., a worldwide insurance and risk services provider. Darviche also was a co-founder and general manager of e-marketing service provider Bigfoot Interactive.
