Acxiom Acquires Business Communications Specialist
Acxiom Corp., Conway, AR, yesterday said it had acquired Access Communication Systems Inc., a Melville, NY, business communications firm. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.Access, which had revenues of $7.5 million last year, offers advanced electronic capabilities that that enable companies to "transform their external business correspondence into direct marketing tools" that are customized for individual readers.
Access will operate within Acxiom's information technology outsourcing division, which is based in Downers Grove, IL. It is the eighth acquisition in the past 16 months for Acxiom.
