Acxiom, Accenture Share Services for Clients

Acxiom Corp., Little Rock, AR, announced a partnership yesterday with Accenture to help clients improve their use of customer information and bolster results.

Accenture, New York, is a provider of management and technology consulting services and solutions. Through the partnership, the companies' retail financial services, telecommunications, consumer products and government sector clients will have access to each firm's services.

The goal is to develop solutions to enhance and expand data collection, hygiene, analysis and use, the firms said.

Even prior to the partnership, Accenture used Acxiom as its preferred provider of customer information services.

"Acxiom's capabilities allow our clients and partners to obtain more complete, accurate customer data -- continuously and cost-effectively," Acxiom company leader Charles D. Morgan said in a statement. "Accenture's deep vertical industry expertise, combined with its market-leading CRM delivery capabilities, will allow our joint clients to bring customer information to a new level to drive business results."
