AccuData Signs Deal to Customize Prospect Databases

Printable Technologies Inc. signed a deal to let compiled data provider AccuData America customize prospect databases through its variable data printing engine.

Using Printable's online PrintOne Customer Center, print buyers can segment and buy data files based on a range of demographic variables. They also can upload those files and use them to personalize a printed piece for recipients as per set business rules.

Printable's Web-to-print variable data printing platforms let print buyers log on to a branded print-ordering interface, define business rules to customize each piece and order print runs of any length from their print service provider.

This alliance aims to help users boost their marketing and prospecting activities by acquiring prospective customer databases without leaving their Web browser-based print procurement dashboard.

Linking AccuData's data to Printable's print-procurement portal accelerates and integrates a personalized mail campaign, the companies claim.
