AccuData Provides Partners With Online Database AccessDatabase marketing firm AccuData America, Cape Coral, FL, last week announced its E-commerce Strategic Alliance Program, which enables business-to-business Web sites to share data with their customers through its online count-and-order system, AccuLeads.com.
"Given the direction that the direct marketing industry is headed in, having an electronic, quick-access system to obtain data is necessary if companies are going to continue to grow," said Sandy Wilson, national director of strategic alliances at AccuData America.
The Acculeads.com online count-and-order system was developed last year as a resource for AccuData America's clients in conjunction with its sister company, Alvion Technologies, also located in Cape Coral, FL.
AccuLeads.com allows users to access counts and place orders for four databases. The Advo resident occupant file has more than 115 million households; the Dun & Bradstreet business database has more than 14 million names; the Equifax consumer file, which was formerly Polk, has more than 103 million names; and the Getko new homeowners file has more than 3 million names.
Affiliate partners have two choices regarding access to the AccuLeads.com system. The link-forwarding program provides a straight link to the AccuLeads site at no cost to the affiliate. The co-branding service provides a link to AccuLeads that appears as a window so the user does not leave the affiliate's site. Each option allows the affiliate to earn commissions on sales resulting from referrals.
A private label partnership that gives subscribers a license to sell AccuLeads.com data without affiliation is also available, as well as a corporate partner program.
The system is designed to be user-friendly, Wilson said. Users can select from the "co-pilot" or "fly solo" options based on how much guidance they need.
As of Sept. 1, AccuData had acquired 12 partnering companies.
