ABC News partners with Facebook

ABC News and Facebook have teamed up with a new partnership that allows Facebook members to electronically follow ABC news.

Facebook users can follow specific ABC reporters, view stories and videos and participate in polls and debates while logged in to their Facebook accounts.

To kick off the collaboration, the two organizations are jointly sponsoring Democratic and Republican presidential debates in New Hampshire on January 5, three days before the Presidential primary in that state.

This follows Facebook's announcement earlier this month that businesses are now allowed to create profiles and befriend other Facebook users upon request. The New York Times has created a profile, letting users read news and share content with Facebook friends.
