Abacus Debuts Single-Source List Product

ATLANTA - Cooperative database company Abacus said today that it has launched FastPath, a single-source mailing list and processing solution for business-to-consumer and business-to-business direct marketers. The product was unveiled here at DMA•05.

As opposed to traditional multi-list campaigns, FastPath lets mailers draw all the prospect names for a campaign from the pool of names in the Abacus Alliance databases. The Abacus B2C Alliance has 1,500 catalog, online and retail merchants and 90 million households. The B2B Alliance has 75 million business contacts.

FastPath uses Abacus' DataEDGE tool for list processing. Mailers can also employ Abacus' retention modeling services in conjunction with the FastPath tool.
