On the heels of its recession-mood busting “Yes, Pecan” ice cream campaign, Ben & Jerry’s is at it again with its eCONEomic relief plan.
Joining the ranks of several other food retailers offering consumers an
empathetic break
, the ice cream retailer is urging consumers to get their cans in for a cone. The company is offering a scoop for a buck today at participating stores, but to get the promotion, consumers also must donate a non-perishable food item. The food items will go to help local food banks, also hurting in this tough economy.
