Yahoo grew membership of its Newspa­per Consortium with the addition of four publishers, including Shaw Newspapers, the Times Publishing Co. and the Colum­bian Publishing Co., raising its total to 634 newspapers in the US. Yahoo provides search, graphical and classified advertis­ing to its newspaper partners.
