Publicis Groupe launches new digitally focused entity

With the goal of better integrating the digital capabilities of its agencies, Publicis Groupe has launched a new entity, VivaKi. According to Publicis, the launch of VivaKi reflects the company's "conviction that a totally new and more integrated organization of the media, interactive, analog and digital universes is necessary in order to leverage scale and technological innovation."
 

Sprint customers folded into Nextel loyalty program

Sprint Nextel is expanding its Business Premier customer loyalty program to include all small and midsize business customers. The program previously applied only to Nextel customers, but a merger between the companies — and the movement of all customers to a single billing platform — now makes it possible for Sprint customers to receive the Business Premier perks.
 

HipCricket signs deal with Spanish Broadcasting Network

Mobile marketing firm HipCricket has signed an agreement with the Spanish Broadcasting System's radio stations. According to the deal, the Spanish Broadcasting System will run ads from HipCricket's Hispanic Mobile Marketing Network, expanding the HipCricket network to reach more than 7 million Hispanic radio listeners nationwide.
