Search marketing firm iProspect has acquired search and interactive firm Range Online Media. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. "We have had great respect for [Range] as competitor in the marketplace," said Robert Murray, president of iProspect.
 

TiVo and DirecTV developing HD DVR, extending partnership

Television satellite provider DirecTV and TiVo have extended their current non-exclusive partnership to include the development of a new, high definition DirecTV digital video recorder (DVR). The two companies also extended their mutual intellectual property agreements. Financial terms were not disclosed.
