InfoWorx adds in-house telemarketing

DRTV agency InfoWorx has added in-house telemarketing to its roster of services. The company also offers infomercial TV production and media buying. Omaha, NE-based voice solution provider Prairie Interactive Messaging will provide the backend call centers.
 

Omniture acquires Mercado's site search and merchandising business

Business optimization software provider Omniture has acquired Mercado's site search and merchandising business for $6.5 million and the assumption of certain liabilities. The deal will enable Orem, UT-based Omniture to expand its site search and merchandizing solutions, especially in the retail space.

John Paulson, the head of G2 Interactive, has been promoted to the newly created position of CEO at G2 US. Paulson, who has held management positions at DDB Worldwide, Grey Interactive and J. Walter Thompson, will be responsible for G2's 10 US offices, which offer direct, interactive, shopper, design, promotional marketing and data consulting services.
