A series of changes to the federal student loan program that take effect July 1 could potentially slow the recent dramatic growth of direct-to-consumer loans from private lenders.The changes to the federal loan program include an increase in the amount students can borrow, a decrease in interest rates on loan repayments and new repay­ment terms enabling some bor­rowers to start repaying loans six months after graduation instead of 60 days

Enfatico, formerly Davinci, the WPP agency that is being built to consolidate work for Dell, has acquired a majority stake of the issue-shared capital of Danish agency ADPeople. Terms were not disclosed.

According to Publicis, the launch of VivaKi reflects the company's "conviction that a totally new and more integrated organization of the media, interactive, analog and digital universes is necessary in order to leverage scale and technological innovation."

New York-based Datran, an e-mail service provider, ad networking and database firm, acquired the higher education search engine in an effort to further develop its lead generation offerings.
