Online marketing firm Datran Media has acquired Top-Colleges.com, formerly a division of AffiliateCrew.com, for an undisclosed amount. New York-based Datran, an e-mail service provider, ad networking and database firm, acquired the higher education search engine in an effort to further develop its lead generation offerings.
