EBay lowers 'Buy it now' fee

EBay will lower the fee for listing an item on its "Buy it now" fixed-price format. The e-commerce company, best known for its auction format, said it wanted to offer additional services to customers who want to purchase items as soon as possible, and also to reduce fees sellers' fees.
 

FTC amends Telemarketing Sales Rule

The Federal Trade Commission today issued its final Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR) amendments regarding prerecorded calls. Two TSR amendments were passed - one will ban calls that deliver prerecorded messages unless the consumer has first agreed, with written consent, to receive calls.
