For at least the past three years, Bank of America and its subsidiary, MBNA, have done a bangtail promotion — perforated mail-back tabs on statement envelopes — on its outgoing credit card statements promoting a jewelry continuity program.

QuadrantOne doubles in size one month after launch

Recently launched online advertising alliance QuadrantOne, which is owned by Tribune Co., Gannett Co. Inc., Hearst Corp. and The New York Times Co., has announced a partnership with the Newspaper Consortium, a group of 26 newspaper companies. It now represents more than 250 newspapers and 25% of the daily newspapers in the US.

PRC verifies USPS rate increases

The Postal Regulatory Commission has completed its first review of the US Postal Service's price adjustments under the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act, finding that all rate increases announced February 11 and set to go into effect May 12 are within the required Consumer Price Index cap.

EBay affiliates to be managed in-house

AOL launches coupon service

AOL is taking the paper out of couponing with its Shortcuts service. Launched today, the program links online coupons to grocery store loyalty cards, making coupon redemption automatic at checkout with the scan of a loyalty card.
