24/7 Real Media Inc. is consolidating its suite of ad-serving platforms into a single one known as Open AdStream.

The platform will include functionality from the former 24/7 Connect and 24/7 Network platforms and the former Real Media's Open AdStream systems.

In October, 24/7 Media acquired Real Media in a deal worth about $1.9 million. The migration of all 24/7 Connect and 24/7 Network customers to Open AdStream is expected to be completed by the end of March.

24/7 Real Media said that by consolidating its ad-serving platforms it expects to save $4 million to $6 million, in addition to the $10 million in savings expected from its acquisition of Real Media.

Customers using 24/7 Real Media's Open AdStream platform include The New York Times Digital, Homestore, Weather.com and Internet.com. The combined Open AdStream is expected to serve more than 210 billion ads a month.
