24/7 Media to Sell Ads for Tickets.com

24/7 Media yesterday announced that it will be the exclusive seller of advertising for the Tickets.com Web site.

The interactive technology and marketing solutions company will provide targeted e-mail marketing, online advertising measurement and a customer reward program.

In addition, 24/7 Media will have the opportunity to work with future private-label and co-branded sites that use Tickets.com's Ticketing Gateways in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and Latin America.

24/7 Media told analysts this week that it expects to lose $150 million to $157 million in the fourth quarter of this year. It attributed all but $5 million to $7 million of the loss from nonrestructuring charges as it moves to get rid of redundancies and achieve cost savings. The company already has laid off 200 employees worldwide.

Tickets.com, which provides online ticketing services for live events, is the official ticket supplier for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games.
