24/7 Media Exclusive Rep for Community Connect E-Mail Lists
24/7 Media Inc. will represent the e-mail lists of Community Connect's BlackPlanet.com and AsianAvenue.com Web portals under an exclusive deal announced yesterday."The BlackPlanet.com and AsianAvenue.com lists represent a great value to marketers because they deliver affluent, hard-to-reach consumers," said Mike Rowson, senior vice president and general manager of 24/7 Media's Mail division. "And because these lists are new to the market, we expect high response rates on promotional offers."
BlackPlanet.com is a Web portal for African-Americans and has more than 2.8 million registered members. AsianAvenue.com has more than 1.6 million registered users and caters to the Asian-American community.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
With the addition of BlackPlanet.com and AsianAvenue.com, 24/7 Media's list management business now includes access to 2,000 e-mail lists, with more 30 million permission-based names.
