1-800-FREE411 Claims High Average Conversion Rates

When Jingle Networks Inc. launched 1-800-FREE411 last fall, who knew conversion rates for direct response advertising campaigns within the free directory assistance would outdo other media like television, radio, billboard and even Internet?

Campaigns on the free directory have had 4 percent to 6 percent average conversion rates, Jingle claims.

The service was launched in September 2005. It aims to help marketers target prospects one on one.

As of now, about 2 percent of the 18 million per day directory users have switched to this free service, which offers callers an ad related to whatever they are searching within directory assistance.

Advertisers like 1-800-FLOWERS.com and National Locksmith are advertising through this channel.
