* Hanover Set For Net-Focused Realignment

Catalog giant Hanover Direct Inc., Weehawken, NJ, today is expected to announce a realignment into two Internet-focused divisions: brand marketing and Web services.

The move is designed to accelerate the flow of Hanover's catalog shoppers to the Internet while allowing the cataloger to establish a beachhead in the third-party fulfillment market.

The brand marketing division will include Hanover's 14 books, its customer lists and marketing and management personnel.

The Web services division will offer third-party back-end fulfillment and front-end services like telemarketing, order and credit-card processing, customer database management and programming support.

Rakesh Kaul, Hanover's president/CEO, will oversee both divisions. Earnings results will be reported separately for each division. Both divisions are expected to post sales increases during 1999.
